OCFS Topic Areas: 4, 6, 8 CEU: .25
As a Mandated Reporter you are required, by law, to report cases of suspected child abuse or maltreatment to the Statewide Central Register (SCR). When acting in your professional capacity, you must report situations you encounter both in and outside your program. Knowing when to make that call can be a difficulty decision, and certainty about what happens next may make it seem more intimidating. During this Webcast, you'll join experts in the field to analyze dramatized case studies. Panelists will explain their role in the reporting process and what you can expect, provide you with guidance on making the call, and review what happens during an investigations.
