Bike Helmets are the LAW for ages up to 14! Riding on the RIGHT side - same as cars.

DRIVING

Efforts to identify and reduce impaired and drugged driving.

PEDESTRIAN

Support pedestrian safety with the New York State Pedestrian Safety Action Plan.

BICYCLE

Support efforts to improve bicycyle safety.

Education and outreach for child safety seats installation and seat belt use. 

OCCUPANT

The Oswego County Traffic Safety Board is proud to offer presentations to local schools, agencies, groups and others who are interested in learning more about traffic and pedestrian safety! We offer presentations on subject such as: Distracted Driving, Drowsy Driving, Car Seat Education and awareness, Pedestrian and Bicycle safety and programs ranging from preschool puppet presentations through Senior Citizen driving education. We are very pleased to offer Bicycle Rodeos as well. This is a one stop shop for children to learn the basics of safe bicycle riding and also how to check to ensure their bike is safe to ride before they get on.
