Requirements to Administer Medication in Child Care
- Successfully complete Medication Administration Training (MAT)
- Successfully complete Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Successfully complete First Aid
- Complete a Health Care Plan and have it approved by a Health Care Consultant
- Laurie Tice, RN, is on staff at the Child Care council to provide Health Care Consultant services free of charge, or another physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or registered nurse may approve your Health Care Plan.
Once documentation of the above requirements is submitted to your licensor or registrar you will receive a new license or registration certificate stating �Approved to Administer Medications�.
